“The Feeling of Water: Memory” is an expressive oil painting that captures the powerful, dynamic energy of the ocean during a storm. Rather than depicting the sea with sharp realism, I chose to filter it through the lens of memory—impressionistic, softened, and distant, like a dream that’s just out of reach. The wave, though turbulent, is seen as if through a haze, reflecting the way our minds recall intense natural moments: emotionally vivid but visually blurred. This piece explores how we internalize and remember nature, not in exact detail, but in feeling, color, and motion.
